The Opportunity - Full Time
The Test Analyst is responsible for ongoing business testing, issue identification, reporting and resolution within a project team for seamless business operation over multiple projects.
To be successful in this position, you must be able to work to deadlines and changing priorities in a busy IT services environment. You will be able to prioritise and manage personal workloads whilst achieving Greenstone objectives.
What are we looking for?
- Ability to design test scenarios for functional and non-functional test coverage
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for finding defects
- Ability to setup test data and perform complex calculations
- Ability to adapt to change, and work in a fast paced and dynamic working environment
- Share relevant information with others and seek other's input
- Passion to learn new technology skills, and seeks constant feedback for continuous improvement
- Strong focus on driving the quality assurance practices across all phases of the SDLC
- Experience writing SQL queries (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, JOIN) and understanding stored procedures
- Experience with API Testing using SoapUI or Postman
- Experience scripting test automation using C#, Java, Python, or Groovy
- Experience testing solutions on cloud platforms and services such as Azure and AWS
- Experience using JIRA or Azure DevOps Desirable
- IT related tertiary qualifications or ISTQB Certified
- Finance or Insurance domain knowledge
- Performance and Load testing experience
