The Data Collection Design team within APRA is seeking a leading Test Analyst with extensive skills in manual and automation testing. The role will sit among a technical business team responsible for designing and developing data collections in APRA Connect. This is done with extensive collaboration across APRA and externally.
The team models data collections, defines associated taxonomy elements and implements them into a third-party application. You will work along-side the team to test data collection solutions and to help facilitate User Acceptance Testing.
About the role:
- Creating and maintaining automation tests, manual tests
- Create test plans and test scenarios
- Executing automated and manual test scripts with associated tracking and reporting
- Using JIRA and Zephyr to track progress and record defects
- Building quality gates into the development pipeline to reduce defect count and shorten the feedback loop
- Be part of the end – end lifecycle of small – large pieces of work, working as part of a Product team (analysis, technical design, effort estimations, delivery)
- Engaging with subject matter experts to help define test cases
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing

To be successful in this role you will have the ability to understand taxonomy definitions, datatypes and how they, along with other metadata, are implemented into a data model for collection through a web-based application. You will have significant experience automation testing (UFT), test planning, test execution and test automation.
