They continue to grow year on year and are now looking to recruit a Test Engineer to join their team and contribute to the continued growth of the business.
The Role:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing ‘turnkey’ product test solutions
- Implementing customer provided test solutions
- Design of all test solutions, coordination and manufacture of test jigs and fixtures required for production
- Ongoing data analysis for product yield improvements
- Drafting of all necessary preventative maintenance procedures for test fixtures and test equipment to ensure constant reliability
- Ensure all test equipment is set up and suitable for the production required and in calibration
- Conduct trials to evaluate new product runs
Your Profile:
To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment and be tertiary qualified, with mechanical, mechatronic or electronic engineering qualifications preferred. It is also expected that you have experience setting up testing solutions with hardware/software based products. You will also have good planning and organisational skills, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities.
In addition, you are a self-motivated and reliable team member, have an exceptional attention to detail, as well as excellent communication skills.
