Meet Alexandra Frost: Your Partner in Performance Enhancement and Wellbeing
The Attuned Collective is the brainchild of Attuned Psychology Director, Alexandra Frost, a Clinical Psychologist. Following the completion of her Masters research in musical performance anxiety, and her own experience as a vocalist, she developed a deep passion and interest in this work and honed her knowledge and skills over 25 years in working with performers and creatives of all kinds.
Alexandra's expertise in performance psychology and clinical psychology extends far beyond musicians, actors, dancers and singers; her dedication is to anyone who faces the challenge of "performing" in front of audiences, whether it be in the arts, academia, the corporate world, or any other facet of life. She has also increasingly supported others in the arts industry such as stage managers, other technical staff or arts administrators who work closely with artists whom are required to navigate a highly stressful environment trying to balance their relationships, the artists they are supporting and their own wellbeing and mental health.
Performance Enhancement Coaching
With a focus on empowering individuals to perform at their peak, Alexandra offers performance enhancement coaching that caters to a diverse range of performers. Over the course of working in this area for almost 27 years she has noticed that increasingly her work has moved to supporting broader needs of artists for improved wellbeing, relationships and mental health. Her skills and experience as a Clinical Psychologist and understanding of the arts allows her to tailor therapy for those needing a broader approach to support them in managing relationships, past trauma that affects their mental health and work, work/life balance, the pressures of touring or balancing multiple jobs and all of the stressors attached to working in the arts.
She has worked with artists, educators, lawyers, doctors, students, CEOs, and academics, working alongside her clients to help them develop specific strategies that facilitate their growth and success and work through any challenges that present in their life.

At The Attuned Collective, we take pride in providing a welcoming, relaxing, and private environment for both our allied health practitioners and performing artist clients. Our consulting rooms, located in the heart of North Adelaide and Glenelg, are nestled within charming character buildings just minutes away from the vibrant centre of Adelaide and the beach respectively. Adorning our walls are stunning artworks by talented South Australian artists, creating a unique and inspiring ambience. We believe that fostering an artistic setting helps our clients feel more like they are visiting a trusted friend's home rather than a clinical practice.
Functional Elegance
Our commitment to excellence extends to the design and functionality of our consulting rooms. Each room is thoughtfully crafted to serve one or more functions, catering to the diverse needs of our allied health practitioners, performing artists and creatives.
Whether you are conducting one-on-one therapy sessions, small coaching workshops, or movement or mindfulness training, our high-quality, stylish, and comfortable spaces are meticulously designed to facilitate your work seamlessly. We are able to adapt the spaces according to your needs with comfortable leather couches, chairs, desks with computers, small tables for work with children, storage and whiteboards.
The rooms are sound proofed for a certain level of comfort and privacy for all clients and may be more available on Saturday afternoons, evenings and Sundays for workshops or small classes. We are very happy to talk to you about your specific needs and do all we can to adapt the environment accordingly to ensure it is functional for your clients and your own needs.

Flexible options
As part of the Attuned Collective we are able to support your involvement in whatever way may work for you. Rent a room on a sessional basis, collaborate in marketing and delivery of services, use our friendly and skilled reception staff or your own if preferred. We also have support for marketing, bookkeeping, IT-support, and other business support staff as needed.

Attuned Psychology has been providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, families and performers in North Adelaide for more than 20 years. Alexandra has been providing psychological services for almost 27 years. Performance psychology has been a central element of the work that Alexandra Frost has been involved with for many years and a core part of her practice. The Attuned Collective is a venture that Alexandra has been considering for some time and she is excited to launch it. This is an expansion on the work over many years by our psychologists at Attuned, with the hope of offering a 'one stop shop' for both the development of a multi disciplinary approach to support performers and their practitioners.
