TM1 | Planning Analytics Consultant

You will have strong technical and analytical skills along with a driving passion or your expertise.About You
- 8-10 years utilizing FPM tools (e.g. IBM Planning Analytics / TM1, Adaptive Insights, Hyp. Planning, Essbase) as well as business intelligence tools in a financial analytics context.
-mIdeally, a minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience with IBM Planning Analytics / TM1.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial analytics with demonstrated ability to design compelling solutions to business challenges with FPM and BI toolsets.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with business processes, System Development Life Cycle and best practices of quality management.
- Knowledge and understanding of cultural and IT business environments
- Skills in developing valued relationships with clients and industry leaders
- Documentation and proposal writing skills
- Ability to work within a delivery team and project managers in leading and ensuring successful project transition with technical and business staff.
- Proven ability to work independently or on a team as required.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with datamarts, disparate data tables, data cleansing methods, ETL techniques, model-building, statistical techniques, and various evaluation and deployment scenarios required.
- Detailed technical knowledge of the IBM Cognos extended platform would be preferred
- Extensive knowledge of IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 Solution with appropriate certificationsResponsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
- Provide delivery management to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Service existing clients of the Company and strive to expand the Company's client base
- Develop, implement, and manage enterprise project engagements.
- When required, participate in the sales cycle to gather requirements, formulate delivery approach -and develop proposals and Statement of Works (SOW).
- Work with the client personnel to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframes.
- Ensure the client can serve as a reference upon completing their implementation
- Assist in the transition of the customer from sales to professional services, and from professional services to product support.
- Support management and client instructions.
- Ensure the project is delivered within the budget outlined in the SOW
- Successfully and professionally manage client expectations and apply change control procedures
