Tourism & Events Officer

• Salary range $75,978 - $87,954 + Super
• Nine Day Fortnight
• Permanent Fulltime role | Part Time may be considered for the right candidate

This opportunity exists for an enthusiastic person with a passion for tourism and enhancing visitor experiences in our community to join our team. This position is responsible for development of tourist products and marketing strategies to attract visitors to our region. You will also manage and coordinate Council events as well as provide support for various projects, including the operation of Visitor Information & Exhibition Centre and Museum.

Ideally the successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in tourism and event planning. Qualifications in Tourism, Events Management, Business Administration or equivalent, will be highly regarded. This position would be suitable for those with extensive practical experience.
