Traffic Engineer/Senior Traffic Engineer

GHD's Victoria Traffic and Transport Group is currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a Traffic Engineer / Senior Traffic Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their team. We deliver exciting projects at all scales, from major infrastructure programs that transform our cities, to local neighbourhood schemes that make life better for our communities. Our large, full-service team is also fortunate to provide regular support to our interstate colleagues, and as such we can offer a portfolio of work that stretches across Australia and beyond.

Candidates should ideally have a strong local knowledge of Victoria (although we are open to remote and flexible working) and experience in delivering, supporting and managing wide-ranging traffic and transport projects, across a broad spectrum of national, state and local clients within both the private and public sectors. In addition to project collaboration, you will be given the opportunity to provide leadership of projects and teams as well as playing a key role in preparation of proposals, project management and business development for public and private sector clients.

What would you bring to the team?

Degree qualified and experienced Traffic Engineer with 4+ years of experience
Pro-active and enthusiastic attitude, great team-working approach and an ability to work both independently and as part of an integrated wider team. You will also have an appetite to grow into a leadership role.
Demonstrated experience on transport projects, with knowledge and experience of the Victorian context desirable (but not essential)
Sound traffic management and engineering knowledge with passion for traffic engineering and principles and standards
Well-developed communication skills, including report writing and the ability to present concepts to a diverse range of clients.
Project management experience appreciated, but not essential
