The Role:
CDC NSW is seeking fresh and highly motivated Trainee Bus Driver's to join our depots in Northmead, Dural and Seven Hills.
As a Trainee Bus Driver, you will assist customers in reaching their destinations and meet their commitments by providing a safe and comfortable journey.

Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering a prompt and reliable transport service
- Carry out pre departure checks and reporting mechanical defects
- Drive effectively and efficiently while ensuring passengers safety and comfort
- Identify, address and report unsafe or unhealthy conditions, practices or behavior in the workplace
- Maintain up to date knowledge of road laws and company policies
- Accurately completing records such as daily journals, time records, customer loading data and fuel and charter records
The skills, attributes and experience which are essential to succeed in this role are:
- Have or willing to obtain a Heavy Vehicle Licence (MR and above)
- Have or willing to obtain a NSW Bus Drivers Authority which will include a criminal history check
- Have or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check
- Provide your current RMS driving history
- Knowledge and understanding of Work, Health and Safety Practices
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills
- A positive, proactive approach and be well presented at all times
- Provide an Australian passport/current Australian working status
- Flexibility for split shifts
- Permanent part-time positions available for multiple Driver's
- Comprehensive traineeship program to upgrade from a car licence to a bus (MR) licence and receive a nationally recognised accreditation of Certificate III in Driving Operations
