What you'll be doing
To complete in one year a Traineeship as a Dental Assistant by undertaking a Certificate III via distance education and provide chair side assistance to dental clinicians and support to the dental team.
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated ability and willingness to undertake Certificate III in Dental Assisting.
Demonstrated ability to observe and assist with clinical procedures (such as tooth extraction and oral surgery).
High level of motivation, the ability to follow instructions and to learn new skills.
Good manual dexterity.
Effective communications skills, both with adults and children.
Ability to work harmoniously in a team environment at all times.
Capacity to always maintain confidentiality.
Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Word and electronic communication tools, and to learn dental software programs.
