We are seeking a motivated Trainee Field SCADA Engineer to undertake an Advanced Diploma of Industrial Data Communication, Networking and IT over a four-year program which will enable you to obtain industry skills and knowledge under the supervision of qualified and experienced professionals, while also attending TAFE to complete your certification.
The location for this traineeship will be based at Glen Waverley however much of your time will be spent out in the field.
During the program, you will be a valued member of our team and will participate in workplace and worksite rotations, experiencing a variety of work environments within the electricity supply industry which will enhance your skills and career development opportunities.
Key responsibilities include
Learn the continuous operation and maintenance of Real Time Systems (RTS) in remote installations to ensure our client meets asset owners, business and coordination centre operational requirements and targets
Become skilled with the development, deployment, modification, and troubleshooting of Field SCADA & communication devices and applications. This will help to support the operations and maintenance of critical infrastructure across various utility companies
Assist to resolve complex engineering assignments from concept and bid phase through to design implementation. This will include following the end to end process including but limited to planning, budgeting, scheduling and technical specifications
