About the role
Times are good at Orica Kalgoorlie! Our business is performing very well, and we're increasing our workforce in our Kalgoorlie Manufacturing Operations. We're looking for several new Trainee Plant Operators to join our friendly and supportive team.
Our manufacturing plant operators operate our fixed and mobile plant and machinery which produces chemicals and packages used in the blasting process in mining, quarrying and infrastructure projects.

What you will be doing
- Safely and efficiently operating equipment, plant and machinery inside our manufacturing plant (full training provided);
- Assisting with plant maintenance tasks when required;
- Performing some labor-intensive duties relating to production;
- Working tightly with a supportive and inclusive team.
- A positive friendly attitude and a willingness to learn;
- Some manual handling working experience;
- Current C Class driving license;
- Ability to pass all relevant security & police checks;
- Commitment to working with safety as a priority.
- Heavy rigid driving license;
- Forklift license;
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
