Form of work IPA have a great opportunity available for our client based in Rockhampton.
Our client is a Leading infrastructure services company who are looking for a Trainer / Training Coordinator to join their team in Rockhampton.
Applicants who have experience as a trainer will be highly regarded.
However, this role would also suit an Electrician / Linesperson who is looking for a change of career direction. All required training would then be provided to help you to learn ad grow within the position.
This role is a Full Time Permanent role with an attractive salary package on offer.
As the Trainer / Training Coordinator you will be responsible for delivering internal training across the business in centres in Brisbane, Rockhampton and Townsville. Therefore, scheduled travel will be required as a part of this role.
Other duties will include but are not limited to:
Coordinate the delivery of internal and external training for the business infrastructure services and subcontractors;
Co-ordinate and deliver internal training/inductions for the business's infrastructure services
Ensure compliance with all procedures and policies;
Develop workplace SMEs and assessors to deliver quality training/assessment in accordance with the RTO, business infrastructure and accepted industry standards;
Liaise with relevant training enterprises to ensure the best results are achieved;
Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders;
Manage the electrical apprentice program for the Energy business unit.
Essential Requirements:
Demonstrated experience working in a similar role
Electrical background - Linesperson
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Ability to work autonomously as well as within the team
Highly organised with well-developed time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
This role requires the ability to build relationships with a wide range of people and fostering collaboration between the teams.
