You’ll ensure the efficient and effective service delivery of the organisational training function by providing end-to-end coordination support across all training activities for Powerlink employees – both individual, team and group-based - as well as Maintenance Service Providers (MSPs) and contractors.
You’ll contribute to the development and maintenance of the training calendar, supporting with significant annual training events, as well as the day-to-day planning and scheduling of courses, logistical support, LMS system support, management of employee files and mandatory training records as well as general administrative duties.
You’ll also provide day-to-day Training Needs Analysis advice and guidance at the team level and to Maintenance Service Providers (MSPs) and to contractors. This includes the coordination of technical and compliance training as well as qualifications/skills audits, and the analysis, scheduling and recording of training activities against Approved Training Plans.
About you
With excellent interpersonal skills, you’ll be a warm and proactive communicator, with an ability to clearly and effectively share ideas and information with your stakeholders. With your internal customers always in focus, you’ll be confident negotiating expectations and outcomes to ensure your business training goals are achieved.
You’ll apply a responsive, flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities; developing and incorporating new approaches, skills, processes or systems to meet stakeholder needs and expectations in order to meet customer requirements.
With strong attention to detail, you’ll demonstrate sound experience in the planning, organising, coordination and administration of training activities, events and/or workshops in supporting a multi-disciplinary team and/or organisational function. You’ll be confident in navigating Learning Management Systems and MS Office suite, including records and database management.
