Our client specialises in training, equipment hire and sales to the mining, industrial, manufacturing, construction and government sectors. Due to growth, we’re seeking a highly motivated and professional individual to provide administrative support to their training division to ensure the effective and productive day-to-day operation of the office. Reporting to the Administration Manager, you will have exceptional customer service, a high level of organisational and communication skills.
The role:
All levels of administrative duties including filing, typing, data entry and scanning
Provide students with support and assistance as required in relation to courses an enrolments
Assist in training processing enrolments, invoicing, scheduling of sessions, resulting and completions;
Provide support to Trainers including booking trainers and premises
Training resources management, including materials printing, organisation and related logistics.
Data entry, including results and claims for student through management systems
Maintenance of student data and files in accordance with RTO policies and compliance
Providing excellent customer service to students including responding to general queries, processing enrolments, issuing of training plans, generating certificates/statement of results, managing the customer retention process and follow up
Setting up, maintaining and packing up room requirements
Ordering lunches and ensuring the kitchen is clean and functional
Liaising with employers and facilitators
Reception relief (as required)
Experience working within a small team environment where support in many different roles may be required
What we're looking for:
Experience working in an administrative role
Previous RTO experience in administering training qualifications and or programs (favourable)
Knowledge of the RTO national code, and RTO compliance requirement (favourable)
Strong computer literacy skills (intermediate knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel).
Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
Self-motivation, with demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
Ability to work unsupervised
Strong attention to detail
Be punctual, show initiative and practice a positive can-do attitude
