Our client is a leading global defence company based in Adelaide's northern suburbs.
Due to recent internal restructuring, a vacancy for the position of Training Coordinator / Consultant to join their busy and engaging team.
This role leads activities relating to the operations, enhancements and ongoing maintenance of systems in the People Function. This role works closely with People colleagues and business stakeholders to understand needs and developments, and with IM&T to capture and progress these requirements. The role contributes to system projects, particularly around design, implementation and training.
Your new role
Sprint coordination: ensure systems continue to meet the requirements of the People function;
User acceptance testing: ensure system changes related to People are appropriately tested by drawing up and agreeing UAT scripts and testers, conducting tests, monitoring progress, following up on outstanding items and test fails, and gaining testing sign off;
Support ERP upgrades and enhancements: working with People team members and ERP on any implementation issues or training needs;
Job architecture: work alongside Reward, the Analytics team and the ERP team to enact next steps;
Bulk uploads: work with stakeholders on the timing, format and conducting of bulk upload changes;
Support changes to systems: involved in the practicalities of changes such as Spark implementation, any ERP modernisation (move to cloud) implications etc;
Support RPA design and implementation;
Manage the Jira job workload.
What you'll need to succeed
Management/coordination of People systems activities;
Experience using an HRIS suite such as Oracle;
Stakeholder engagement, with experience of gathering requirements and translating these into systems improvements;
Experience in the application and improvement of business procedures;
A high level of attention to detail;
Sound organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines;
Previous experience in transactional Human Resources, including experience in the dynamics between teams in HR and other functions such as Payroll;
Proficiency in various computer packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, general knowledge of human resources related systems;
Ability to work independently and cooperatively with business and technical resources.
