About Our Facility

South West Alliance of Regional Health services a population of more than 429,000 people, across a land area in southern Victoria of 32,000 square kilometres. We are embarking on the refresh of the Electronic Health Record application that underpins the clinical operations of multiple (11) health sites.

About the Role

This is a 3-year project that will consider the synthesis and standardisation of clinical functions and workflows, and has an overarching clinical nature. The Change Manager will play a crucial role in the success of this initiative, so we now seek an experienced, pragmatic individual to join us.

It takes a special type of person to drive change. We have governance structures to ensure that we can change and do so in a safe, acceptable way. We have a core project team that wants to enable change but need guidance as to the tools and techniques, and someone who brings the learnings that only experience can bring. And we have our clinical working groups who offer the practical on-the-ground experience that will help identify the opportunities for change.

The Change Manager will be responsible for planning and enabling change across the organisation and will be an integral member of project team comprising clinical and technical expertise. They will develop, lead, monitor and report on the realisation of an end-to-end change strategy, one that results in leaders and users at all levels competently and confidently embracing new processes and system. And not to forget the communication responsibilities; developing and overseeing the delivery of a communication strategy that encompasses the whole organisation, and includes a mix of external audiences.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Plan and lead the Change Management strategy, that is inclusive of a Communications Strategy
  • Enable and work with the core project team and clinical working groups to drive change
  • Work with core project team and clinical working groups to deliver upon Communications Strategy
  • Work with core project team to integrate with and deliver their respective requirements, for example Training and Support strategies
  • Provide effective Reporting, Relationship Management and Information Management
