Transport Coordinator - Shoalhaven

We currently have an opportunity for an energetic Transport Coordinator. In this role you will provide support to the Transport Manager in the day-to-day management of Transport services to Defence. Management duties will include allocation of drivers and vehicles to support Defence Transport requirements and management of Defence fleet of vehicles.

What you'll be working on:

In your role you will deliver a range of services including but not limited to:

• Maintain a safe workplace and environment
• Maintaining and managing Transport Task and Driver electronic scheduling
• Comply with Transport Regulations and Defence Road Transport Instructions
• Ensure a safe driving service to Defence and Civilian customers
• Maintaining a vehicle servicing and administrative database entry

Our front of house staff is the face of Downer Defence and plays a pivotal role in delivering the service commitment we have made to our clients.

Skills and Experience

• Suitability for Defence security clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory)
• A Transport Driver Authorisation or ability to obtain and hold licence
• Excellent customer relations and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of the local area
• Must be able to work unsupervised and in a small team
• Experience with SGFLEET highly desirable
