An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Transport & Customer Delivery Coordinator to join this reputable beverage manufacturer based in the western suburbs.
- Casual ongoing role: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm
- Laverton location
- $42+ per hour
Your primary responsibility is the delivery of planned customer support and administration duties to ensure order fulfilment and on time delivery to customers. Reporting to the DC Manager, you will be working in a fast paced, time driven environment.
Reporting to the DC Manager, your duties will include, although are not limited to:
- Compiling all customer sales orders and stock transfer orders received
- Schedule, plan and book transport for next 48 hours
- Support dispatch of local and interstate orders and be a point of contact between the company and 3rd party couriers
- Liaise closely with up to 12 couriers/transport companies regularly to ensure transport schedule is met and customers receive their deliveries on time
- Work closely and support the inventory, operational and customer service teams
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Previous experience working in a similar role - Transport/Logistics planning essential
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Experience using an ERP system - Dynamics an advantage
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
