The Asia Pacific region currently includes Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Singapore, with approximately 1900 employees.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Planner at our Hume Rd facility in Melbourne. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this will be an afternoon shift role attracting a 15% shift allowance and will participate in the daily operation and efficient functioning of Transport through the allocation and scheduling of trucks as per customer requirements.
Key KPIs/deliverables include, but are not limited to:
- Achieve TRIFR
1 * Accurate data entry to support planning, allocating and KPI reporting
- Ensure sub-contractors are compliant under CoR rules and regulations
- Manage the schedule (hours) and load weights during fleet allocation to maximise Transport CoR performance
- Ensure Transport cost % is to revenue of 70% (through fleet utilisation and allocation)
- Ensure there are minimal customer service contractual issues (quality) related to Transport performance (less than 5 per year)
- Ensure customer queries and complaints are dealt with efficiently and effectively
- Liaise with the operations team and Site Leaders
- 5 years plus experience in a similar role (industry experience is preferable)
- Strong understanding and implementation of safety procedures, product safety, quality and legality issues
- Relative industry experience and understanding of refrigerated palletised freight (not essential)
- Good understanding of Retail DC receival operations
- Experience with managing customer relationships and resolution of issues
- Excellent understanding of transport routing in the metropolitan and regional areas
- Excellent understanding of CoR principles (NHVLR, Mass/Fatigue Management
