Treasury and Receivable Officer

Due to continued growth, Georgiou are seeking an experienced Treasury and Receivables Officer to join our shared services accounts team in Osbourne Park.

You will be responsible for the coordination and processing of Georgiou's Treasury and Receivable function through handling various financial activities.

What to expect in this role:

- Monitoring and managing daily cash balance by liaising with the Accounts Payable and Finance team members for any daily banking transaction requirements such as daily cash transfers, treatment of payment bounces and refund
- Updating daily cash flow forecast with previous day transaction data and forecast cash inflow/outflow.
- Building and maintaining relationship with banking and financial institution providers.
- Ensure that the accounts receivable function is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures including accurate and timely raising customer tax invoices, setup of and maintenance of customer details in ERP (Coins) system and the tracking and ageing of accounts receivable.
- Assist with new client review and assessing credit term.
- Undertake monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts.
- Ensure the timely collection of all debtors by contacting project team or customers to obtain expected payment date and ensure that client has already received and approved the invoice.
- Responsible for arranging, filing, and returning bank guarantees and insurance bonds.

What we are seeking:

- Previous experience in a treasury/accounting position
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to meet deadlines for assigned tasks with a good attention to detail
- Sound understanding of Treasury and Receivable functions
- Finance or Accounting degree (or currently working towards)
