What you'll be doing
Blacktown Cancer & Haematology Centre is one of the major Cancer centres at Western Sydney where a comprehensive range of cancer care services are available. An integrated and coordinated service is provided to cancer patients and their careers from a multidisciplinary team approach. The service is avowedly patient centric with research and clinical trials forming one of the guiding principles of the service.
Blacktown Medical Oncology Trial Unit is one of the largest Oncology Trial Unit in NSW. The unit conducts both sponsored trials and investigator-initiated research. These studies provide patients with access to therapies which are potential lifesaving or life extending or may improve their quality of life.
Clinical Trial Research Nurses are part of the Clinical Trials team and will care for patients enrolled in these clinical trials, adhering to the required protocols.

Essential Criteria
Qualification: Nursing and Midwifery degree
Registration: Current nursing registration with AHPRA
Selection Criteria
- Previous Oncology nursing experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proven time management and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
