Bondwoods Transport (BWT) was established in 1995 and is a family owned and operated transport organisation that operates throughout Australia. We have extreme pride in our fleet with over 40 prime movers, predominately Kenworth and 100 trailers comprising of flat tops, Skel's, side lifters and tautliners in combinations of Semi-trailers, B Doubles and Road trains.
About the role
This role will require you to:
- Remove existing tyres and fitting replacements on trucks and trailers
- Mounting tyres to rims
- Conducting tyre checks
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Assess tyre damage and wear
- Attend and repair tyre breakdowns
- Unload/load delivery trucks
- Minimal deliveries in small rigid truck
- Pick up parts for workshop
- General yard duties
- Communicate effectively with all workshop and office staff
- Perform the above tasks to all safety procedures as directed by the company
What you’ll need to succeed
As someone who enjoys physical work, you will:
- Have good time management skills, love a challenge and being busy
- The ability to follow safety instructions
- Take pride in a job well done
- High Risk Forklift licence preferred
ABOUT YOU
- Preferably hold a nationally recognised Cert II in Heavy Duty Tyre Fitting or equivalent
- A valid and current Drivers Licence
- Possess a high level of initiative and the ability to work unsupervised
- Be an experienced truck tyre fitter (minimum 1 year experience)
- Have good time management skills, love a challenge & being busy
- Take pride in a job well done

- Quick learner
- Able to follow instruction
