In this Job you will:
As an Inventory Controller at DHL, you'll overcome daily logistical challenges to ensure warehouse operations run smoothly. In a fast-paced environment, where every day is different, you'll have the autonomy to make decisions and be able to continually grown professionally. Use your talents to ensure a high level of stock accuracy, lead a committed team to greatness and drive the future of logistics, using the latest technology.
- Maintaining and improving inventory accuracy
- Investigating & reporting on all stock discrepancies
- Completing stocktake and cycle counts
- Proactively managing all inventory related issues
- Reporting on results & prepare reports for calculating usage & reconciliation reports
You have the following qualities & qualifications:
- Solid experience within a 3PL or Supply Chain environment
- Previous experience working within an FMCG and/or Consumer warehouse
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience - Ideally paperless and/or Manhattan
- Effective influencer with exceptional communication skills
- Actively seeks to work cooperatively with peers and work as part of a team
- Possess strong communication across all levels and problem solving skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel/Office
- Analytical thinker with previous experience in managing slotting / pick path & inventory maintenance
- Commitment to a continuous improvement culture
