Form of work One of Asia's largest Real Estate group's is seeking an experienced Trust Accountant to join our team. The Trust Accountant will be responsible for managing and administering trust accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing financial reports and analysis to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage trust accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions related to trust accounts.
Prepare financial reports and analysis for stakeholders, including trustees, beneficiaries, and management.
Manage cash flow and investment activities related to trust accounts.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
Perform regular audits of trust accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
Provide guidance and support to trustees and beneficiaries on matters related to trust accounts.
Participate in the development of financial strategies and initiatives related to trust accounts.
Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices related to trust accounting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
CPA or CPA designation preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in trust accounting.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
