The OpportunityTo plan, coordinate, deliver, monitor and evaluate the provision of quality administration service to the Residential Aged Care Facility. To ensure the services provided are appropriate to the facility's needs and are carried out efficiently and effectively, in line with recognised standards and financial accountability.
Role requirements
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check: As a Health Care worker in Queensland Health who engages in risk-assessed roles, you must hold a current disability check (Yellow Card or Yellow Card Exemption) or an NDIS worker screening check, in accordance with Part 5 of the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld).
- Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
- Proficiency in the application of internal information systems in addition to Microsoft Word and Excel, MANAD and S4HANA is an advantage
- Knowledge of or acquired knowledge of Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing legislation relevant to the position is desirable.
- Knowledge and experience in records management.
- Ability to work in a team environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Organisational, problem solving and time management skills.
- Interpersonal and communication skills ensuring the provision of excellent customer service to both internal and external clients. Interact professionally and sensitively with all levels of staff, care recipients, relatives and the general public.
- Maintain discretion, confidentiality and exercise judgment where necessary to solve immediate problems in situations where precedents have not been set and procedures not defined, ensuring a satisfactory outcome.
- Sound written communication skills to provide an administrative support function to a multi-disciplinary team within a nursing home environment.
Generous remuneration package value up to $87,657 p.a.comprising:
- Salary range of $2634.80 to $2944.80 p.f. (AO3)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading
- Up to 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
