Our Product team works cross functionally within agile teams to design, facilitate and problem solve.
We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to help us create amazing user experiences ensuring that design aligns with objectives and user needs.
Reporting to the Design Team Lead and working closely with agile squad colleagues day to day you will be responsible for:
Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
Conceptualising original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
Creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
Presenting and defending designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders
Responding to user research and feedback
Designing for iterative releases
Establishing and promoting design guidelines, best practices and standards i.e. ensuring elements are reusable, accessible, and informed by a variety of discovery techniques etc
About you
Your design thinking and problem solving skills have been tested in agile teams working on established and content rich websites.
You want to put your creative skills to use in a purpose driven organisation looking out for individuals not corporations.
Demonstrable UI/UX design skills with a strong portfolio of public facing websites
Proficiency in visual design and wire-framing tools
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
Ability to present your designs and influence outcomes with stakeholders.
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Experience with component design within a Design System
