Job Requirements:
Contract: 12 months with a 12 month option
Eligibility: Australian Citizens who hold an AGSVA Baseline or higher security clearance.
Location: Canberra, Brisbane or remote - hybrid/WFH in each location
The role:
As a UI/UX Designer you will be critical in improving the experience for users of the systems built and supported by the Business Systems Branch. You'll join a multidisciplinary team working with agile methodologies to:
Independently tackle ambiguous problems from start to finish using robust design processes
Contribute to the information architecture, interaction models and UX patterns in an evolving product
Experience needed:
Adobe XD, Figma or equivalent tools
Testing of prototypes with users and capturing insights
Understanding of accessible design principles
WCAG guidelines, including AA Compliance
Designing information architecture
Arranging functionality into logical & intuitive structures
