Our NSW&ACT Roads Practice is seen as a leader in highways design in the region’s market. We are seeking an experienced Utilities Engineer to join the team in Sydney. The role will see you working on designs for major road infrastructure projects across NSW&ACT and across borders as necessary. You will engage with our existing client base and work closely alongside our broader Transport team.

Your role will include:

Analyse technical problems by applying theoretical knowledge of engineering principles and take initiative to propose solutions

Assist more senior engineers with the analysis of information, production of designs, and computations

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders using a range of methods, including written analyses and reports

Apply digital tools in creative and efficient ways in order to automate processes

Work in small teams completing sections of work

What are we looking for from you?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imaging engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future.

You have a good understanding of the civil engineering industry in Australia and you bring an analytical mindset and ability to solve problems and innovative.

You can work independently under supervision, or as part of a team and you enjoy engaging with project stakeholders in a professional manner.

You have a clear written and verbal communication style and you are capable of quickly learning new software packages. Experience with Civil 3D and/or 12D is a definite advantage.
