Job description
Paxus is currently seeking a UX Researcher/ Designer to join a contract with our Federal Government client. You will work to transform the Department's approach to delivering online content and help deliver a Digital Experience Platform.
6 month contract + 2x 6 month extension
Canberra based role + 2 days WFH per week
Ability to obtain Baseline clearance
Improve the user experience for millions of Australian citizens
Requirements:
Minimum 5yrs experience required
Proven experience in user research for large digital projects
Ability to lead and deliver user research engagements from end-to-end in a team environment (including planning, designing, running/facilitating, analysis and reporting)
Experience using both qualitative and quantitative methods will be required
Expert in User Centred Design (UCD) and the DTA's Digital Service Standard (DSS)
Experience in using metrics and user feedback to improve digital products and services.
Knowledge of Design Thinking methodologies and ability to use them alongside your team to deliver on projects
Strong presentation/facilitation skills and the ability to articulate and present solutions, ideas and recommendations
