About the role at Prezzee
Our growing UX team is on a mission to disrupt the gift card market through intuitive experiences and gifting moments that ignite human connections. As the UX/UI Designer for our apps, you will report to the UX Chapter Lead with the primary focus will be on creating rich and delightful experiences for our customers. Additionally, you will support our app squad in an agile environment to collaboratively design and deliver experiences across our native apps.
The Role You'll Play
- Utilise your expertise in native app design to ensure the designs translate seamlessly across a wide range of phone sizes, including folding phones.
- Use your UX knowledge and creativity to design unique experiences that stand out on a global scale
- Collaborate closely with our UX researcher to validate design decisions.
- Develop seamless and easy to use customer journeys.
- Utilise Figma to create wireframes, high-fidelity designs and prototypes.
- Establish and maintain our app's design system by creating a set of standard, reusable design components.
- Use your animation skills to create beautiful interactions that delight our customers.
- Create detailed documentation and Figma files that are readily available to developers.
- Work effectively as part of a team and be receptive to feedback.
- Collaborate closely with the app squad to uplift the quality of our app in an agile manner.
- Be able to clearly communicate your design rationale to senior stakeholders in the business.
What are we looking for?
- A portfolio showcasing completed app UX projects, which demonstrates your design style, what you can contribute to the role, your career journey, and aspirations.
- Extensive experience in taking products from concept to launch.
- Strong skills in visual user interface design and user experience design.
- Strong aesthetic and animation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Figma and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Experience in responsive design and creating designs for the latest phone sizes, including foldable phones.
- Knowledge of mobile usability and accessibility standards.
- Knowledge in creating wireframes, visual mockups, graphics, user workflows, and low and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Knowledge of mobile development design guidelines for both iOS and Android.
Seniority
Junior - A role for someone with some basic skills, good motivation and ability to learn. Typically up to 2 years of experience is required.
Responsibilities
-UX Design Assistance - Support UX design activities such as wireframing, prototyping, and creating design specifications and style guides
-Customer Journey Insight Development - Understand a brand’s customers and their journey throughout touch points and processes, to drive strategy for positive customer experience
-Technology Solution Design and Development - Design and develop customized technology solutions, such as software applications, databases, networks, and platforms (such as SAP and Workday)
