Vehicle Body Builder

Truck Art Livestock Trailers, Located across Australia in 5 states, Manufacturer of custom Stock Crates and Livestock Trailers is currently seeking to employ a qualified and experienced Vehicle Body Builder to commence at their site in Wagga Wagga NSW.

The successful applicants will need to undertake:

- Construct vehicle sections in several materials using shaping machines and cutting and welding equipment
- Select, cut and sew pieces of fabric, vinyl and leather using heavy-duty sewing machines
- Modify assembly line vehicles to special requirements
- Bolt, screw, rivet and weld vehicle sections together
- Preparing new vehicle trim work
- Instal internal trim in vehicles such as lining, floor coverings and armrests
- Attach door trims, rubber seals, locks and handles

Skills & Attributes:

- Certificate III in Automotive Manufacturing Technical Operations - Bus, Truck and Trailer or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Vehicle Body Builder
- Ability to read and interpret drawings to a high standard
- Safety first attitude

Salary range is $50,000 - $60,000pa commensurate with skills and experience
