Aussie Automotive Group (AAG) has expanded its service offerings from hail repairs to vehicle dent repairs, vehicle cosmetic repairs, alloy wheel repairs, rim repairs, ADAS (Advanced Driving Assistance Systems) calibrations and glass repairs. AAG provides this service to major insurers, panel shops, fleet dealers and private clients nationally and internationally.
Aussie Automotive Group is currently looking for a hardworking and dedicated trade qualified Vehicle Spray Painters to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be expected to carry out the following duties:
Prepare vehicle, body components and parts for primer application
Measure, mix and applying primers and paint
Prepare primed vehicle, body components and parts in readiness for paint application
Clean vehicles, body components and parts in readiness for paint application
Masking vehicles, body components and parts in readiness for paint application
Colour matching and fixing of parts
Paint and clear coat application to vehicles, body components and parts
Other duties as required
Qualifications and Experience
To qualify for this position, you will have:
Certificate lll in Automotive Refinishing Technology or Relevant Trade qualification
At least 2 years experience
A keen eye for details
Adhere to all work, health and safety policies and procedures
