Job description

As a Vehicle Test Engineering Expert, you are technically skilled, have an engineering approach, and excel at problem solving. Your remit would be to ensure key focus on the role and to ensure the program lands appropriately.

This role requires an individual who is knowledgeable in testing and DVP management, and someone who can effectively solve problems. For this role, we're really keen to bring in someone who is a leader in their field and has a deep understanding of Vehicle Testing and integration.

As our next Vehicle Test Engineering Expert, you'll be leading the updates of the vehicles, workshop activities, Proving Ground activities, and the validation plan for the vehicle.

The Key Requirements...

  • Validate PT & e-PT systems as a "domain"
  • Test PT IP releases ahead of labcar testing
  • Validate PT & e-PT software downloads, PIVs and overall diagnostic readiness
  • Cascade clear requirements to EE Integration & test team for labcar requirements to support PT IP validation
  • Verify for PT & e-PT Vehicle commissioning throughout M1/M2/1PT build (with support of wider PT & e-PT team)
  • "First responder" to any PT & e-PT denoted issues (post integration review, highlighting ownership to domain)
  • Create, maintain and validate test plan for PT & e-PT features & systems.
  • RCA on issues, liaise with RIGs and vehicle owners for issue investigation
  • PCA implementation validation
  • Support the development of processes and tooling for the robustness of PT IP releases
