THE OPPORTUNITY
The role of the Venue Manager (Events) is to lead and co-ordinate all aspects of venue management and to support the Senior Managers and the team to deliver the venue experience to customers whilst meeting business objectives.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:
Have control over the venue's appearance and atmosphere
Manage all shift operations from the setup, running and close down of the venue– including daily venue operations outside of event periods
Working closely with the Sales & Event team to ensure the seamless execution of functions and events
Stakeholder management including clients, customers, suppliers and partners
Ensuring service delivery and customer experience is delivered to the highest standard
Day and night shift reports
Security, compliance & governance of venue, implementing policies and procedures
WHO ARE YOU
As a driven, passionate and focused individual you will possess the following attributes and skills:
Demonstrated experience in multi-faceted Venue Management
A strong understanding of wedding, social and corporate events would be highly regarded
Ability to share your knowledge, manage and motivate
Immaculate presentation paralleled with the service delivery
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Professional, driven & strong team player
Ability to run a fast-paced venue with multiple profit centres
Demonstrated ability to meet and work towards both your own, the venue and companies’ goals and deadlines
Individual who thrives on responsibility & takes initiative when bringing ideas to the table
