Pullman and Mercure King George Square is looking for someone who is passionate about all things food and loves tailoring amazing Beverages to the clientele they are serving. They must be open and elastic in being able to adapt their skills in both Hotel Food and Beverage and Venue Management in creating great experiences, all of this underpinned by being a true Heartist.
The hotel features some amazing and extremely popular external facing venues including Goldfinch Restaurant and Street Café, Sixteen Antlers Rooftop Bar as well as internal facing KG Bar.
Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, the role will oversee the operation of the Food & Beverage Venues as well as champion guest and employee experience.
You will be overseeing our Food and Beverage Venues and Rooms Service:
- Goldfinch Restaurant & Street Café
- Sixteen Antlers Rooftop Bar
- KG Bar
- Room Service
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar leadership position, and a passion for people and service/experiences. They must be able to multitask at a high level whist developing individual team members and the team as a whole. You will also have a hands-on management style and flexible work ethic.
As Venues Manager you will:
- Leading the team in a hands-on manner, ensuring consistent and proactive approach
- Owning, creating and driving revenue
- Ordering & stock control
- Maintaining Food, Beverage and wage costs in line with budget
- Proactively setting, implementing and reviewing service standards P&P expectations
- Maintaining and improving safety & hygiene standards
- Employee recruitment, training and development including - people succession planning for sustainable success
- Proactively creating unique experiences tailored to the Visitors, Clients and Guests
