The vets can expand their interests including soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, dermatology, imaging (radiography, CT, ultrasonography, endoscopy, laparoscopy, and arthroscopy), ophthalmology, neurology and dentistry and supported in local, interstate, and international conference or workshop attendance. The opportunity to follow cases throughout is important to my client, as well as performing or assisting with advanced surgical or medical procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Veterinarian you will be responsible for providing:
All aspects of general practice PLUS the opportunity to nurture an area of clinical interest including soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, dermatology, imaging (radiography, CT, ultrasonography, endoscopy, laparoscopy, and arthroscopy), ophthalmology, neurology, and dentistry.
Daily hospital rounds and team collaboration on cases.
Mentoring newer members of the team.
You will have Veterinary Nurses to assist you with this throughout the day.
REQUIREMENTS:
MUST have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent.
MUST be eligible to register with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of South Australia.
MUST provide gold standard animal care.
MUST have excellent interpersonal skills to create, maintain and enhance client relationships.
MUST have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
IDEALLY will have a desire to grow your medical knowledge, surgical and diagnostic imaging skills.
