Vineyard And Winery Assistant - Yarra Edge

Yarra Edge is a vineyard and winery located in Yarra Valley. We aim to produce premium red and white wines, the main varieties are Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabinet Sauvignon blend wines, etc. Most grapevines were planted in 1983 and 1995.

We are currently looking for a motivated person, this is an opportunity for individual wanting to work in the wine industry. Job description and requirements are listed below.

- Participate in daily vineyard activities (including pruning, shoot thinning, de-suckering, fruit picking, etc)
- Take part in winemaking activities during harvest season (e.g. fruit receival, fruit sorting, fermentation monitoring, barrel work and cleaning, etc.)
- Assist with coordination of daily tasks when necessary
- Learn to operate machinery and equipment
- Fulfill other responsibilities as required

Job Requirements
- Honesty, integrity and hardworking, take initiatives, Strong sense of responsibility
- Good communication and organizational skills, enjoy team work
- Valid Driver's license in Australia, good driving skills and sufficient driving experience in Australia are preferred
- Communication skills in mandarin would be preferred

Notes:
- Undergraduates who want to get an internship would also be considered
