About the role

Deliver an efficient and effective administrative support service to our clients, members of the public and hospital staff who utilise the services provided by Administrative Support Services.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • High level interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including tact, diplomacy and confidentiality in dealing with a variety of staff, external agencies and members of the public.
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and skills of administrative processes, systems and procedures in each role within a changing health care environment.
  • Demonstrated ability or the ability to acquire knowledge and expertise in maintaining data integrity of information management systems used within TPCH including HBCIS
  • Proven capability to work both autonomously and as a member of a team, ability to cope in a high volume environment, and the ability to coordinate, prioritise and complete a number of different assignments within competing timeframes.
  • High level organisational skills with the ability to manage heavy workloads, competing priorities and the ability to meet deadlines in a constant changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupation health and safety and ethical behaviour.
  • Complete and perform other duties as directed by the line manager.
