The role
As the Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the supply of drilling consumables and materials, your role will be critical in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of essential resources to our customers. You will need to have a strong focus on people management, forward planning, cost control, and KPI achievement to ensure we meet our operational objectives.
In this role, you will be expected to maintain a laser-sharp focus on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards to ensure compliance with our organization's strict guidelines.
You will need to be proactive in identifying potential hazards and risks and taking appropriate measures to mitigate them. Your expertise in supply chain management will be invaluable as you oversee the movement of products from our warehouse to our customers. You will be responsible for ensuring that all products are delivered on time and in the right quantity and quality.
Areas of responsibility
To co-ordinate stock movements and liaise between all Terelion and supplier warehouses
Issuing stock to work orders and maintaining stock to the optimum level
Carry out regular audits to ascertain stock levels
Assist in producing monthly data as requested
General warehouse maintenance where applicable
Purchasing, Receiving, and Dispatching products, orders, and enquiries
Work closely with Leading Hands / Logistics Partner to plan day to day running of the warehouse
Assist in ongoing in-house training for team members as required
Your profile
You are professional with a strong background in warehouse and stores management, specializing in mechanical and/or heavy spare parts while holding a current Forklift and First Aid certifications, and possess extensive knowledge of Aurora and DI ERP systems.
You are highly safety conscious and have a strong commitment to ensuring that all warehouse operations are conducted in compliance with applicable regulations and best practices. Additionally, possess excellent computer skills and can navigate complex inventory management and tracking systems with ease.
You are a skilled people manager and can motivate and direct team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. A self-starter with a high level of drive, flexibility, and enthusiasm, and possess excellent communication skills that allow you to interact effectively with colleagues and clients alike.
