Our client is part of a large organisation, with multiple business units spread over novated leasing, warranty and more. A position is available in either Melbourne or the Gippsland region for experienced automotive candidates, looking to move away from a dealership environment, but still have the security of a major employer.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis, where you will work from the office 3 days per week, and from home the remaining 2 days! The days working from home are flexible and could really help candidates who need to juggle kids / family life.
Our client provides aftermarket warranty solutions to both franchised dealerships, such as AP Eagers, as well as independent used car operators, and requires a Senior Warranty Technical Specialist.
This position is a call centre-based role, to provide superior customer service and specialist technical advice to customers, agents, and mechanics/repairers in relation to the processing of warranty claims. The role also requires the completion of admin tasks and management of allocated claims files as dictated to by the claims leadership team. In addition, the role specifically requires specialist technical advice and direction to be given to other (non-technical) Internal claims staff, including the creation of technical documentation.
The ideal candidate for this role will have very strong mechanical experience as either a Technician, Workshop Foreman, Workshop Controller or similar.
