Reference Number: 1429 Closing Date: 11-01-2024 Employment Type: Contract (2 Year Contract) Location: Dalby Jandowae Road Depot About the Opportunity Council is seeking a Water Operations Trainee to join their Utilities team in Dalby. You will receive mentoring, on the job training and a fully paid Certificate III Water Operations. The Traineeship term is 2 years. Reporting to the Utilities Supervisor, you will be: Assisting to interpret job specifications and job orders; Assisting with scheduling and resourcing; Assisting with daily operation and maintenance of water and waste water treatment plants, pump stations, bores, reservoirs, pipelines and associated infrastructure; and Undertaking manual handling / labouring duties. About yourself The successful applicant will have a: relevant Year 12 Certificate of Education or higher qualification; Queensland P1, P2 or C Class Licence; WHS Construction Induction White Card (or willingness to obtain).
