Your role:
As a Weapons and Sensors Operator, you’ll use combat data systems, radar and sensors to detect, track and identify air, surface, and sub-surface threats, working onboard ships and ashore. The information you collect will enable you to provide recommendations to assist your team in making tactical decisions and avoiding potential threats. You will be required to specialise in underwater operations (anti-submarine or air warfare) or above water operations (tactical data links and combat data systems).
Whether you have recently finished school, currently studying, already in the workforce or you have no experience at all, we’re hiring. You’ll be paid from day one to gain all the skills needed with extensive on-the-job training. You may also be able to use your existing qualifications and be eligible for recognition of prior learning.
Your duties include, but aren’t limited to:
- Using combat data systems, radars, identification sensors and identification networks
- Collecting, correlating and sharing sophisticated sensor information
- Providing data-driven recommendations
- Underwater or above water operations

Salary:
Upon completion of your initial military and employment training, you’ll enjoy a salary package starting from $73,253.
