About the Section and Branch

The Web Experience Section

The Section is responsible for the all-round experience of the 12.7 million people visiting the Department's and ODC websites each year.

The Regulatory Engagement Branch

The Branch provides a range of policy advice, communication and support services for the Department and the Office of Drug Control.

Duties

  • Changing book titles and summaries so book pages are linked to a book in the search index
  • Adding topic and audience tags to all content making the search filters useful
  • Creating collections and tagging all relevant content to be part of a collection, specifically for medical device content
  • Tidy up legacy web pages
  • Fixing content types
  • Adding summaries to approximately 250 pages that don't have one
  • Locating relevant image and upload to the S19 (shortages) content
  • Adding publication or last updated dates to all content
  • Creating version histories and adding review dates as content is confirmed current by business areas
  • Adding magnets to pages where these will be useful
  • Assisting with the monitoring of the feedback inbox and resolution of simple issues
Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in the same or a similar role
  • An ability to follow process and work collaboratively with colleagues
Desirable
  • GovCMS Drupal experience
What's on offer

The successful candidate will be offered an APS3 equivalent hourly rate contract. Notionally, through to 30 June 2023. This position is based in Fairbarin, ACT.

As this role is with the Federal Government, only Australian citizens will be considered for this vacancy, a Police Check (obtained within the last 6 months) is preferred, or willingness to obtain.
