Our Government client requires an experienced Web Developer, responsible responsible for providing high-quality development and administration of the online delivery elements of eLearning Platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop eLearning modules and online support packages using eLearning authoring tools, web authoring tools and eLearning technologies
- Modify and enhance existing eLearning packages using current and emerging technologies, applying knowledge of adult learning principles and best practices whilst remaining consistent with the concepts of operational areas that package is being developed for
- Design and develop online training on new and existing technology to colleagues and support staff
- Research and recommend new technologies in the field of online learning
- Contribute to the development of team objectives for short term tasks and strategic planning for longer-term activities
Required Skills
- Learner Management System (LMS) experience with Moodle and Oracle based systems
- Web design skills including HTML, HTML5, JavaScript and CSS
- Multimedia development including interactive learning objects with tools such as Adobe Premier, Vyond and Videoscribe
- Graphic and visual design skills with Photoshop and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience applying Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 to eLearning modules and online tools
Desirable Skills
- Experience using web authoring tools such as Adobe Dreamweaver
- Advanced skills with Microsoft office tools, such as word and excel
- Current training qualifications or the ability/willingness to undertake Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Minimum of 5 years experience in developing eLearning packages
- The ability to build and maintain assessment tools and evaluation surveys in an LMS or external systems such as Survey manager
Note
- Candidate required to work from Canberra office. Client is flexible with work from home arrangement and the same needs to be discussed and agreed after commencement of work in Canberra.
- Candidate must have baseline clearance and should be able to obtain NV1 clearance.
- Rate is inclusive of Super
- 12 month opportunity, with further optional extension of another 12 months.

Contract length: 12-24 months
Salary: $800.00 – $900.00 per day
