The Web Operations, Development and Enhancements Section provides operational and support services for the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the Department’s intranet and external websites, including Ministers websites to ensure the departments websites meet the Australian Government digital standards and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
The Specified Personnel will be responsible for providing the following deliverables including but not limited to:
- Retrieving web publishing tasks in the workload management system;
- Assisting with delivery of web content drafting with subject matter experts;
- Formatting and producing web content drafts in the SharePoint Content Management system;
- Managing multiple tasks with competing priorities and deadlines.
The Specified Personnel will also be responsible for producing the following deliverables, including but not limited to:
- Case notes for each task undertaken in the departmental workload management system;
- Weekly reports on work undertaken;
- Updates to Standard Operating Procedures;
- Email communication of changes and approvals for each task.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- 2 years experience working on SharePoint Content Management System.
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced operational environment.
- Demonstrated experience working with senior executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in Website Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
- Qualification in Web Development or Content Design/Development.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
