As a Wellbeing Support Officer, you will deliver appropriate services, provide case management and care coordination to participants of the Family Rural Resilience Program (FRRP) within the service area for Centacare NENW. The Family Rural Resilience Program is an Australian Government funded initiative under the Department of Social Services (DSS). The support worker aims to reduce the prevalence of mental illness of younger persons aged 0-18 years, through intervention and early detection.
This position is a part-time position (4 days/week).

Remuneration
This position operates under the Social, Community, Home Care & Disability Award 2010 on a level 4 ($41.52/hr - $44.68/hr)

About The Role
Working as part of our team some key responsibilities include but is not limited to:
- Have a passion for sports and well-being and an understanding that these go hand in hand
- Provide program participants with case management support for short term assistance, target numbers as per Program Guidelines under the FRRP contract.
- Ability to Facilitate psycho-educational programs in line with the FRRP program to children & young people aged between 6 & 18 years.
- Provide ongoing support to individuals, families and/or groups to ensure that they are better able to manage emotional, social and related problems.
- Participate in the administrative and corporate governance requirements of the position including record keeping, data collation (including demographic data collection), internal and external record requirements and report writing according to contract deadlines compliant with organisational standards.
- Build Centacare NENW’s capacity to deliver programs through the facilitation of pathways for participants and the establishment of partnerships with key stakeholders including government agencies, community organisations and other related bodies.

Essential Criteria
- Relevant experience in working with families and/or working in wellbeing/sports related fields.
- Experience in Case Management education program delivery, development, implementation, coordination, review and evaluation or the willingness to undertake study if required in this area
- Demonstrated experience working with complex families who may be difficult to engage.
- Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and CALD communities
- Demonstrated experience in developing working relationships with multi-faceted services.
- Current driver’s license and ability to travel regularly where overnight stays may be required.
