Main hub located in Lake Macquarie, 2 days WFH
Large multi faceted Aged Care NFP organisation
Details:
This is a temporary 3 month placement however there is a permanent vacancy, this role could develop into a permanent position if the match is right for both parties. Alternatively, a 3 month placement at your fingertips is available to commence now.
Permanent equivalent salary is $120k + super + salary packaging
Core responsibilities:
Undertake WHS inspections and reporting across this multi business organisation
Review, update and maintain WHS systems, while ensuring legislative compliance
Risk management and assessment through identifying and assessing workplace hazards and risks
Motivate, coach and mentor employees to assist with embedding a positive safety culture
Facilitate incident/accident investigations processes where required and analysis to identify issues, potential systemic issues and control improvements
Identify trends and report on WHS to varied levels of the organisation including Board level reporting
What we’re looking for:
Minimum cert 4 qualification in WHS
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of WHS legislation, WHS and risk management
Ability to work independently, this position requires site presence at multiple locations in Newcastle
Strong relationship building skills
Passion for safety and risk management strategies
Non technical requirements include a valid drivers licence, ability to obtain a Police Check and WWCC.
