Ontex Australia continues to invest in Australian manufacturing and now is seeking to recruit a talented and experienced WHSE Manager on a part time basis to join the Team at our modern manufacturing and distribution site based at Eastern Creek.
This person contributes to the safe work environment by administering and maintaining the safety management systems compliance, promoting a safe workplace culture, and raising awareness to reduce the number of incidents and injuries.
Technical expertise is required in the following areas;
- Safety Management Systems compliance and applicable legislation
- Safe work method statements, permits and inductions
- Leading risk assessments
- Maintenance of WHS records in compliance with applicable legislation
- Return to Work coordination and programs
- Familiarity with ISO system requirements
- Ensuring environmental protection and monitoring the impact on the environment in Ontex providing our standards apply and legal to other regulations.
- All audits for safety
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Min 5-7 years industry experience, preferably in high-speed manufacturing environments
- Current First Aid (advanced)
- Qualified Return to work coordinator
- Relevant Tertiary qualification (i.e. Degree or Diploma).
