One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Wintel Systems Engineer to join their Digital Technology branch to deliver end to end digital services that will improve their productivity and service delivery. The role will be based in Canberra with the ability to work a few days a week from home. The successful Wintel Systems Engineer will be offered a 12-month contract partnered with extension options.
The successful Wintel Systems Engineer will be responsible for the below:
- Enhancing regulatory functions and service delivery to increase efficiency for high value business functions
- Detecting and responding to Cyber Security threats
- Establishing a contemporary technology platform that delivers modern business capabilities
- Building systems resilient to localised failures and major disaster events
The successful Wintel Systems Engineer will have experience in the following:
- Minimum 5 years experience working with Microsoft technologies
- Proven experience and detailed operational knowledge of Windows Servers
- Knowledge of Unified Communications Platforms (eg Microsoft Teams, Skype or Cisco Webex)
- Experience with Linux or Ansible (desirable)
