Over the next two years the FPC is preparing to undergo a major transformation as a result of changes to forest policy. With the upcoming new Forest Management Plan 2024 -2033, the FPC will transition from commercial scale native forestry to a focus on ecological thinning and increased plantation development activity, supported by the government investment of $350 million into softwood plantations.

Working within a smaller government agency you will have the opportunity to make a greater impact and feel truly satisfied when you contribute directly to the outcomes of the FPC. About the role

The Work Health and Safety Officer supports the Occupational Safety, Health and Environment (OSHE) Branch with compliance activities associated with Safety, Integrated Forest Management Systems (IFMS) and Governance.

Intermingled with tall karri forest, the surrounding farmlands take centre stage in a thriving fruit and vegetable industry.
